Being in charge of younger children is a great responsibility, but can be a fun, rewarding, and sometimes a challenging experience. Participants will be provided with information on preparing yourself to babysit, dealing with children, parent rules and expectations, discipline, safety, first aid, and how to deal with emergencies should they arise. Class will cover basic first aid, choking, and CPR. Students will receive an American Heart “Friends and Family” participation certificate and an 80-page student manual upon completion of the course. Please bring a bag lunch and water bottle with you to class.
